Bouse Newsletter - The Story
In January of 2007 a new 3-page Bouse community newsletter was started by Pat Schlecht with the backing of the Bouse Chamber of Commerce. The focus was to strictly cover events in Bouse for the community. When Pat moved out of the area Pat Walch stepped up and took on the Editorand publisher's role. Then in December 2011 Dani Bull helped by offering to do the the design and layout.
By February, 2012 the newsletter's 47th edition went out boasting 11 pages and featuring articles on History of Bouse and information on the many community volunteer organizations.
Dec 2018 was the 100th edition of the Bouse Newsletter .... that month we doubled the size of the Newsletter to celebrate and republished articles from previous editions to celebrate this milestone.

The paper is published for 8 months October through May with approximately 4,000 copies printed over that period.
Each newsletter ranges from 12 pages and some are then more depending on time and articles offered
The Staff is completely volunteer - no one is paid for their part
